Admission to the Theatre program for actors requires an audition and interview. Auditions and interviews are by appointment only.
Audition requirements
The Post Theatre Company (PTC) is the resident theatre company of the Theatre Arts Program in the School of Performing Arts. The PTC has won 14 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Awards and participated in the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A unique resource for students is LIU Post’s Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Long Island’s premier concert venue, offering real-world experience for students both onstage and behind the curtain. Selected stars that perform at the Tilles Center conduct workshops, talkbacks, and master classes with students.

POST Arts

With 16 performance ensembles, LIU Post provides students with outstanding performance and educational opportunities, featuring on-campus performances at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, and off-campus performances at local venues, as well as regional, state and national conferences.

Audition requirements
The Post Concert Dance Company (PCDC) is the resident dance company of the Dance Program in the School of Performing Arts. PCDC is a touring ensemble of dancers that reflects the commitment of the program to dance as a communicative language, to exploring the possibilities in dance creation, and to dance as a vehicle for social understanding and change.

Selected stars that perform at the Tilles Center (Savion Glover, Paul Taylor Dance Company) conduct workshops, talkbacks, and master classes with students.
